Nowadays, most people like travelling and spending holidays away from home. Travelling opens your mind to other cultures.
First of all, I think that when you travel you learn about other lifestyles because you eat local dishes and go sightseeing. In my opinion noticing the differences between your country and the one you are visiting gives you consciousness about the pros and cons of each lifestyle.
Secondly, visiting other places makes you appreciate what you have, especially if you travel to third world countries that are underdeveloped. In addition, you realise how people can live without the luxuries of developed countries and how they adapt their lifestyle according to their resources.
To sum up, travelling opens your mind to different lifestyles and makes you appreciate your belongings and your country’s resources. Although travelling could cost you all your savings it is worth it.
